All the way from Maui we had the pleasure of helping Peter Fay realise his dream of paragliding from Kilimanjaro on 17 September 2021. After a grueling climb along with his wife Emma, brother Douglas, sister in law Monique and our extended Paraglide Kilimanjaro team they reached to roof of Africa. Peter managed to solo fly from the roof of Africa. His wife Emma took to the skies as well on a tandem glider with one of our Paraglide Kilimanjaro pilots, Pierre Carter. It was a challenging high altitude launch for Peter who generally soars over the Hawaii island mountains where he is a partner in a paragliding school (www.paraglidemaui.com). Peter’s preparation and training over the 12 months before the expedition indeed paid off. Congratulations to the whole team!
